The shattering effect was done using Rayfire in 3dsmax. Sony Eyecandy (shattered sphere): Fire and smoke simulation were done in Fumefx in 3dsmax. Minute Maid: Fluid Simulation's done in Realflow, shading and rendering in Maya with MentalRay. Nascar smoke screen: Smoke screen and dust cloud were done in Afterburn, compositing in After Effects. Sony Eyecandy (dropping ball of paint): the drop in the beginning of the shot was done in Realflow, it's being composited with the live action shot toward the end of the shot. Sony Eyecandy (flaming sphere): Fire and smoke simulation were done in Fumefx in 3dsmax Kungfu Fire: Fire and smoke simulation were done in Fumefx in 3dsmax, compositing in After Effects. Kungfu Water: Fluid Simulation's done in Realflow, shading and rendering in Softimage XSI with MentalRay, compositing in After Effects.
